Before you email us

Most of what goes wrong has a quick fix. Here are the ones worth trying first.

“Run not found” or an analysis that seems stuck. This almost always means the plugin’s database tables are out of date, usually because it was updated by re-uploading files rather than through WordPress’s normal deactivate/reactivate flow. Deactivate SynapSee, reactivate it, and try again — that forces the database update that a file re-upload skips.

A key that stopped working. Three usual suspects: you’ve run out of free credits with your provider (add a payment method or switch providers), the key was deleted or rotated on the provider’s dashboard (generate a new one and paste it into Settings), or it was mistyped when you saved it (copy it fresh and try again). The Test button next to each key field will tell you immediately which of these it is.

A “model not found” or “no longer available” error. AI providers rename and retire model versions every few months, faster than any plugin update can track. Paste the provider’s current model ID into the Model field for that provider in Settings — it overrides our built-in default without needing to wait for us to ship an update.

An analysis that’s taking a long time. This is expected on some hosts, especially ones with an aggressive reverse-proxy timeout. SynapSee queues the work and polls in the background rather than holding your browser’s connection open, so a few minutes of “processing” is normal, not broken. If it’s been running for an unusually long stretch, check the Dashboard for an error message before assuming it’s stuck.

A competitor’s sitemap won’t parse. Switch that row to AI Scout mode instead — see when to use AI Scout instead of a sitemap for how that works.

Still stuck?

Email support@teddyx7.shop with:

  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead (the exact error message, if there was one)
  • Your WordPress version and which AI provider you’re using

That’s usually enough for us to spot the issue on the first reply rather than going back and forth for details.
